If you have decided you would like to join a swim team and the Newton Nitros looks like the right fit, here is the process you will need to go through to get started!
Print and fill out both pages of the forms above. Return by mail to PO Box 341, North Newton, KS, 67117-0341, attention Secretary. You may also email the forms to nitrossecretary@gmail.com, or bring to the sign up event. Drop us an email letting us know of your interest in joining the program. You will be put on a waiting list and scheduled for an evaluation swim by the coaches. You will be contacted with instructions on how to proceed and a time line for your start date. Your evaluation swim will be 1 day, and it will help the coaches place the swimmer in an appropriate group. Parents can meet with the New Member Chair at the evaluation swim and ask questions about the program. Information about how our program runs will take place that day as well (swimmers will learn how their first day will go, parents will learn the policies for dropping kids off, schedule changes, etc.)
